The medical staff on the plane include in most cases a paramedic and a doctor with the appropriate qualifications and licenses.  When the patient’s family wish to board a flight, this is certainly possible but requires proper preparation on the plane for any event.  All equipment, including  medical equipment will belong to the airline and paramedic.  For ambulance flights that do not require intensive care and in accordance with the patient’s medical report and the recommendation of the attending physician, only a paramedic will be placed on the flight.  In most cases, we coordinate ambulance flights for our clients with full medical staff
